Škofja Loka: To the master for a sweet recipe

Škofja Loka is a region of diverse and masterful skills, which are presented by the DUO Škofja Loka Arts and Crafts Centre in the historical centre of the medieval town. Here you can marvel at the skills of Petra Plestenjak Podlogar, who manually carves pieces of wood into unique wooden moulds for the design of the embossed form of traditional Škofja Loka honey bread. Under the watchful eye of the master, you will press the honey dough into a mould. You will be able to take the baked small Škofja Loka breads and honey recipe with you – as a snack or a souvenir! 

The experience includes: 

• observing the carving of wooden models for Škofja Loka bread 
• making a Škofja Loka bread – moulding the dough and baking
• honey package – finished Škofja Loka bread and the recipe
• the chance to buy local craft products
